The upcoming La Liga season will be only the seventh in history with this intriguing fact. What makes it special?

After the Segunda matches played on Sunday, June 1, all the teams that will compete in the next La Liga season have been determined. And this time, there's a unique twist to the story.
Details: According to Opta, the upcoming season will be just the seventh in La Liga history to feature as many as seven clubs from the Valencia region. Alongside Valencia itself, Villarreal will participate in the top flight, and both Levante and Elche have earned promotion from the second division.
This has only happened before in the following seasons: 1945/46, 2010/11, 2013/14, 2014/15, 2020/21, and 2021/22.
Last season, Valencia finished 12th in the standings, while Villarreal claimed fifth place and secured a spot in the main round of the UEFA Champions League.
Reminder: Lionel Messi named his favorite goal of his career. His choice turned out to be quite unexpected — he picked the header he scored in the 2009 Champions League final against Manchester United.
