The undefeated heavyweight is still hoping to have a fight with Anthony Joshua

The Croatian heavyweight Filip Hrgovic shared his opinion regarding the prospects of fighting against Anthony Joshua.

The undefeated Hrgovic (17-0, 14 KOs) is a mandatory contender for the IBF title in the heavyweight division.

“I hope so. It’s not about me, it’s about him. Of course I want to fight him. He’s a star, and he’ll decide. If that fight doesn’t happen, it’s not about me. I want to fight him. I’m ready. When the IBF becomes vacant, and it’ll become after Fury-Usyk, me and him are next in the line.

There’s no reason for it not to happen. Only if he doesn’t want that.” Hrgovic told IFLTV.

On the night of March 9, Joshua easily dealt with Francis Ngannou at a boxing event in Riyadh. The referee stopped the fight in the second round after another knockdown of the Cameroonian.

After the bout with Ngannou, AJ revealed who he wants to fight next.
