As a reminder, before the match, the passionate Arsenal and Manchester United fans had a bit of a heated exchange regarding their teams’ upcoming face-off.

But after the game, their humorous banter continued. Celebrating his team's victory, Romeo posted several stories directed at his father, ending with a suggestion for David to sleep well.

David couldn’t resist responding, ironically stating that he would indeed sleep well, surrounded by all the trophies he won while playing for Manchester United.

Romeo has been an Arsenal fan since childhood, despite his father's efforts to turn him into a Manchester United supporter.

David shared the story in an interview with Rio Ferdinand:

"So we walk in, I'm sat there and then Arsene walks in the room and he comes straight over to the table, introduces himself to Romeo, and he says 'come with me son'. So he takes him down to the changing room, meets all the players, gives him a shirt, signed, takes him onto the pitch, walks him back up to the table and then gives him an Arsenal cashmere scarf, and that was it. It was done."
