Details: According to insider Fabrizio Romano, Jean-Philippe Mateta’s move to Milan has been cancelled following today’s double medical examinations. Crystal Palace have already been informed that the deal has fallen through. The player himself was keen on joining Milan, but the transfer will not go ahead.

We previously reported that Milan had reached an agreement with the 28-year-old Crystal Palace forward Jean-Philippe Mateta on personal terms.

Reminder: This season, Mateta has made 34 appearances for Crystal Palace, scoring 10 goals and providing two assists. His current contract runs until the summer of 2027.
