Legendary goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is moving to the MLS team Los Angeles, as reported by journalist Fabrizio Romano.

According to sources, the parties have reached an oral agreement. The French goalkeeper will sign a one-year contract with Los Angeles with extension options. Consequently, he will depart from Tottenham after 11 years with the London club. The paperwork is being prepared, and an official announcement is expected soon.

Just as a reminder, on August 31, 2012, Lloris moved to the English club Tottenham Hotspur for ten million euros, with the possibility for his former club, Lyon, to receive an additional five million in bonuses and 20% of the goalkeeper's next transfer fee. In the London club, the Frenchman displaced Brad Friedel from the starting lineup.

Lloris quickly became a key figure at Tottenham, extending his contract with the club for five years in the summer of 2014. In late 2016, he signed a new deal valid until 2022. After the departure of Younes Kaboul in the summer of 2015, Lloris was appointed as the team captain.
