The Tottenham coach talked about the most problematic position

Tottenham's head coach, Ange Postecoglou, shared thoughts on the team's squad situation and revealed the club's transfer priorities in the near future.

He emphasized the necessity for another central defender, capable of immediately fitting into the starting lineup.

"I believe Ben Davies had an outstanding game against Newcastle. However, we must remember that he's not a natural central defender; he's still adapting to this role.

Ultimately, we need to sign another center-back because we are currently hanging by a thread in case anything else happens", - Postecoglou is quoted by Reuters.

The team has been facing personnel challenges this season due to several injuries.

There have been reports indicating Tottenham's serious consideration of signing Ukrainian defender Ilya Zabarnyi from Bournemouth during the winter transfer window.
