The winner will be announced on 11 May.

Awarded since 2009 by RFI and France 24 to the best African player of the season playing in Ligue 1, this year’s Marc-Vivien Foé Award will be won by either a Senegalese or a Malian player. The three finalists are from these two countries.

Lamine Camara (Senegal), Moussa Niakhate (Senegal) and Mamadou Sangare (Mali) are the three players in the final sprint. One of them will succeed Achraf Hakimi. The three African players have distinguished themselves through their performances this season in France’s Ligue 1.
