In Germany, the matches of the DFB-Pokal Round of 16 are taking place. The third-tier team, Saarbrücken, defeated Bayern Munich with a score of 2-1 in the previous round. In the Round of 16, they faced another representative from the Bundesliga - Eintracht Frankfurt.

The third-tier German team managed to surprise once again. They opened the scoring in the 20th minute, but after a VAR review, the referees disallowed the goal due to an attacking foul. The hosts had less possession, but were much sharper.

In the second half, in the 64th minute, Kai Brünker finally put Saarbrücken ahead. Eintracht tried to come back and launched attacks, but in the 78th minute, they conceded again. Luka Kerber sealed the match with a goal, making it 2-0.
