The competition is scheduled to take place from 25 April to 15 May in Morocco.
The teams set to compete in the U17 Africa Cup of Nations have now been confirmed. Sixteen teams have secured their places in the continental tournament. They are Algeria, Angola, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, DR Congo, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guinea-Bissau, Mali, Morocco, Mozambique, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania and Uganda.
These teams will compete from 25 April to 15 May 2026 in Morocco. Beyond the title that the competing teams are aiming for, this tournament serves as a qualifier for the U17 World Cup, which will take place in Qatar.
