‘The team is not ready’. Ten Hag has made a statement that will worry Man United fans

Manchester United has worked hard in the transfer market, making four high-profile signings. But despite this, manager Erik ten Hag is not entirely happy with the pre-season preparations.

The Dutchman believes that the European Championship and Copa América went rather to the detriment of the team, as the players who participated in those tournaments had less time to work as a team than other players:

‘We didn't have a pre-season where you can work on the team for five or six weeks - it's very difficult. We had the US tour, then we added players from the Euros and Copa America and now new signings. Now we have to build a team out of them.

This team is not ready yet, but the league is starting and there are still coaches who have this problem. We are not in 100 per cent shape, but we have to go from game to game to improve and raise the level of play of the team and individual players. Let's see how quickly we can progress in this process,’ ten Hag is quoted by Goal.
