The Super League responded to UEFA's statement, accusing them of pressuring the European Court, as reported by Sport.es.

As it is known, UEFA appealed to the court, requesting a modification of the press release regarding the Super League case. According to the organizers of the Super League, UEFA does not heed the principles of justice.

"They fail to comprehend that their monopoly has ended and that their privileges have no place in Europe. Justice has unequivocally stated this, leaving no room for doubt - UEFA can no longer threaten or impose sanctions on clubs seeking to advance alternative competitions.

Yet, UEFA persists in exerting pressure on clubs and, surprisingly, on the European Court itself," stated the Super League.

It is reasonable to mention that theEuropean Union's Supreme Court ruled on December 21 that FIFA and UEFA acted unlawfully when they blocked the European Super League. Thus, the prominent football project gained a second lease on life.

Daily Sports recalls the entire chronology of the conflict, starting from the official announcement of the intention to create a tournament involving the best football clubs in Europe.
