Star leader and captain of the Edmonton Oilers, Connor McDavid, commented on his team's performance in the first two games of the Stanley Cup Finals.

The Canadian stated that the team needs to regroup and play well in the third game. According to him, the opponent is playing better, and they need to find a way to score goals.

"Otherwise, we won't win the Stanley Cup with this kind of play. We lack speed and danger near Florida's net. Let's see what happens in the third game," said Connor McDavid.

As a reminder, the second game of the Stanley Cup Finals between the Florida Panthers and the Edmonton Oilers took place on the night of June 10-11.

The decisive period of the match was the third, in which Florida overwhelmed Edmonton by scoring three goals. Evan Rodrigues scored twice, and Aaron Ekblad added another goal. Florida now leads the series 2-0.
