Euro 2028 will be staged across four nations, and it has now been confirmed which country will host the tournament’s opening game.

Details: The opening match of Euro 2028 will take place at the Principality Stadium in Wales. It has also been confirmed that the semi-finals will be held at Wembley Stadium.

England’s first match of the tournament will be played at Manchester City’s home ground, the Etihad Stadium.

Euro 2028 will be the 18th edition of the European Championship, running from June 9 to July 9, 2028, across the United Kingdom and Ireland. Spain will defend their title after defeating England in the final of Euro 2024 — one of the future host nations.

Reminder: FIFA has begun selling parking spaces near stadiums for the 2026 World Cup matches.
