The Appeals Committee of the Confederation of African Football has stripped Senegal of its African championship title and awarded it to Morocco.
The governing body of African football has decided to strip the Lions of Teranga of their 2025 African champions title following an appeal by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation.
This decision, which sent shockwaves on Tuesday 17 March, did not leave the Senegalese Football Federation indifferent. It posted a video on its social media showing the Lions of Teranga celebrating their victory in the streets of Dakar.
