Decision taken at the meeting of the Emergency Committee of the Senegalese football governing body.
At the end of the meeting held on Friday 27 February 2026, several resolutions were adopted by Senegalese football leaders. The most significant is the financial commitment to clubs.
The Federation has approved a financial package of over $1 million to subsidise affiliated clubs participating in national and regional competitions.
Another significant measure is the settlement of arrears owed to referees for the 2024-2025 season. The Committee has instructed the relevant departments of the Federation and the Senegalese Professional Football League to optimise the scheduling and regularity of future payments.
