The Senegal women’s national team will play two friendly matches against Burkina Faso

This double-header forms part of the Lionesses of Teranga’s preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations.

Senegal aims to continue refining its strategy ahead of the continental competition scheduled for next summer. Ahead of the tournament, the Lionesses will face Burkina Faso in a double-header in Dakar. These matches are scheduled for 13 and 17 April 2026 at the Stade Leopold Sedar Senghor. These friendly matches will allow both women’s teams, who have qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations, to test their playing systems and strengthen their team spirit.
