The second most expensive transfer in Turkish history. Galatasaray bought a Brazilian midfielder

Galatasaray has decided to bolster their midfield ahead of the new Turkish Super League season by signing Norwich midfielder Gabriel Sara.
The Turkish giant has officially announced the acquisition of the Brazilian player for €18 million. Sara has signed a five-year contract with an annual salary of €2.75 million. Notably, the transfer fee will be paid in several installments over the next three years.
According to Transfermarket, Gabriel Sara's transfer is now the second most expensive in the history of the Turkish Super League. The record transfer remains the €19.5 million move of En-Nesyri from Sevilla to Fenerbahçe.
It’s worth noting that Galatasaray aims to successfully defend their championship title and is looking to strengthen their squad with players from top clubs. The club has also shown interest in Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay.
