The second finalist of the Roland Garros tennis tournament has been determined
On Friday, June 7, a semifinal match at the Roland Garros tournament took place, where Casper Ruud (ATP No. 7) faced Alexander Zverev (ATP No. 4).
The first set went to the Norwegian tennis player. In 36 minutes, he overcame his opponent and took the lead 1-0 (6-2). However, Zverev mirrored the score in the next set, winning 6-2 and restoring parity. Ruud started the third set better but couldn't maintain his advantage, and Zverev claimed the set 6-4, leading 2-1. In the fourth set, Zverev started strongly and did not relinquish control.
Alexander Zverev won 3-1, becoming the second finalist of Roland Garros. He will play against Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz in the final, which will take place on Sunday, June 9.
