The route is set! Orlando Pirates learn all six CAF Champions League group-stage fixtures
Orlando Pirates now know exactly what awaits them on their return to the CAF Champions League group stage.
Details: The draw held in Cairo placed the South African champions in Group C alongside Morocco's RS Berkane, Tanzania's Simba SC and Cameroon's Colombe Sportive. CAF has scheduled the six group-stage matchdays between late November 2026 and late January 2027, with Orlando Pirates set to play each of their three opponents home and away. The top two teams in the group will advance to the quarter-finals.
The Buccaneers will begin their campaign away against Simba SC during the 27–29 November window. Their first home match will follow one week later against RS Berkane, before a December trip to Cameroon to face Colombe Sportive. The return fixtures will all be played in January.

- MD2, 4–6 December 2026: Orlando Pirates vs RS Berkane
- MD3, 18–20 December 2026: Colombe Sportive vs Orlando Pirates
- MD4, 8–10 January 2027: Orlando Pirates vs Colombe Sportive
- MD5, 15–17 January 2027: Orlando Pirates vs Simba SC
- MD6, 22–24 January 2027: RS Berkane vs Orlando Pirates
Orlando Pirates reached the group stage in emphatic fashion after eliminating Namibia's African Stars 5-0 on aggregate, winning the return leg 4-0 in Johannesburg. It is also worth noting that the Buccaneers are former African champions, having lifted the continent's premier club trophy in 1995.
