The roster for the Norwegian national biathlon team for the Biathlon World Cup has been announced

The Norwegian national biathlon team has announced its roster for the first stage of the Biathlon World Cup, which will take place in Östersund, Sweden, as reported by Ski Skyting.

The men's team for the first stage includes 7 athletes, while the women's team consists of 6 athletes. The women's team features two debutants: Frida Dokken and Marit Skogan.

Norwegian National Biathlon Team Roster:

• Men: Johannes Boe, Sturla Holm Laegreid, Vetle Sjaastad Christiansen, Tarjei Boe, Johannes Dale, Endre Stroemsheim, Vetle Christiansen.
• Women: Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold, Karoline Knotten, Juni Arnekleiv, Marte Olsbu Roeiseland, Frida Dokken, Marit Skogan.

The season is set to commence on November 25.

It is worth noting that Johannes Boe set an absolute biathlon record last year by achieving podium finishes in 19 consecutive individual races.
