Roma aims to reduce their wage bill at the start of the new season, and one of the players they are willing to part with is striker Tammy Abraham.

According to talkSPORT, the Italian club is actively marketing their player to various clubs, particularly in the Premier League, where Abraham previously played. Tottenham Hotspur is considering signing him, especially since Roma is ready to significantly lower his price.

Abraham's contract with Roma includes a release clause of £65 million, but the Roman club is willing to reduce the price to £26 million in the event of a sale.

Ange Postecoglou's team is looking for a new number nine, and besides Abraham, they are also monitoring Bournemouth player Dominic Solanke.

Tammy Abraham is a product of Chelsea's youth system and started his professional career there. Besides the Blues, he played for Bristol City, Swansea, and Aston Villa. In 2021, he transferred to Roma for €41 million and had an impressive first season in Serie A, scoring 27 goals. However, last season he spent a considerable amount of time sidelined due to a knee injury, and after returning in March, he only started eight matches.

It is worth noting that besides Tottenham, Aston Villa, where he previously had an excellent loan spell, and Everton are also interested in the striker.
