The Rock, alongside Roman Reigns, faced off against the world champions Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes. Victory for the former pair would lead to the next match being conducted under "Bloodline Rules," while a win for the world champions would prevent any interference during their match the following day.

Despite Reigns mistakenly knocking out The Rock with a spear, they managed to remind everyone who the WWE champions are and emerged victorious from the clash.

The upcoming bout for the WWE Universal Championship will now be conducted under "Bloodline Rules," meaning anything can happen in the ring, and Reigns' faction will have full freedom to disrupt Rhodes' bid to remain atop the rankings.

For The Rock, this match marked his first since leaving WWE in 2016. As we've seen, he hasn't forgotten the art of wrestling and made a confident return to the sport.
