The Road to the Final Is Open! Conference League League Phase Draw Held in Monaco

The new Conference League season has officially got underway in Monaco.

Details: On Friday, 28 August, the Conference League League Phase draw for the 2026/27 season took place at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco. All 36 participating clubs were divided into six seeding pots and learned their opponents for the main stage of the competition.

Under the updated format, each team will play six matches in the League Phase — three at home and three away — facing one opponent from each of the six seeding pots. All participants will compete in a single league table.

The eight highest-ranked clubs after six rounds will qualify directly for the round of 16. Teams finishing from ninth to 24th will contest the knockout play-off round for a place in the round of 16, while clubs finishing between 25th and 36th will see their European campaigns come to an end.

The Conference League League Phase matches will be played from 15 October to 17 December 2026, while UEFA will publish the full fixture schedule, including dates and kick-off times, no later than 30 August.
