The potential return of José Mourinho to the Santiago Bernabéu is gaining traction, with the Portuguese coach setting out specific demands.
Details: According to Ramón Álvarez, the manager has already listed a set of conditions under which he is willing to take charge of Real Madrid once again. Mourinho insists on a two-year contract and the freedom to bring in his own team of assistants and physiotherapists, aiming to completely overhaul the club’s internal processes.
Mourinho is particularly concerned about the team’s physical conditioning: over the past two seasons, Real’s players have suffered around 120 injuries in total, a figure he considers unacceptable. Because of this, he is demanding full control over personnel decisions and the medical department.
Additionally, the coach wants guarantees that the board will not interfere with squad selection or dressing room management, reserving the right to decisively part ways with players who do not fit his vision.
If Florentino Pérez accepts these terms, Real Madrid is in for a strict disciplinary reboot.
Reminder: Antonio Rüdiger slapped a Real Madrid staff member in the face right during training.
