The rebranding continues. Ligue 1 unveils new logo
The French Ligue 1 is undergoing its final season with the current logo. Starting from the next season, the strongest football league in France will have a new logo, which was officially presented today.
Instead of the familiar polygon-shaped logo, the new logo features a stylized number 1.
It's worth noting that earlier, Ligue 1 officially announced that McDonald's would be the new title sponsor of the championship, replacing Uber Eats. According to reports from French media, Ligue 1 will receive 30 million euros annually for its partnership with McDonald's.
Starting from the current season, Ligue 1 also changed the number of clubs in the league. Previously, there were 20 teams competing for the title of French champions, but now the number has been reduced to 18.
