Bayern Munich is clearly dissatisfied with the team's performance under Thomas Tuchel's leadership, and the bosses of the Bavarian club have already begun work on the transfer market to strengthen the team. According to Defensa Central, Munich may initiate a restructuring starting from the goalkeeper position and has already set its sights on Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin.

The German club views Lunin as a potential replacement for the aging Manuel Neuer and aims to sign him until the summer of 2025 when his current contract with Real Madrid expires. To avoid Lunin leaving for free, Madrid is trying to extend his contract, considering interest not only from Bayern Munich but also from other top clubs in Europe. Despite the Ukrainian goalkeeper being open to staying with the team, everything may change after the recovery of Real Madrid's first-choice goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.

In the current season, Lunin has played 11 matches without conceding goals and conceded 22 goals in the remaining 14 matches. The reputable portal Transfermarkt values the 25-year-old goalkeeper at 16 million euros.
