The Real Madrid coach has designated the goalkeeper for the UEFA Champions League final

The sole major intrigue before the UEFA Champions League final was who would guard the goal for Real Madrid.
Now, the coach of the Madridistas, Carlo Ancelotti, announced during the press conference that Thibaut Courtois will occupy the starting position. Ukrainian goalkeeper Andriy Lunin will be on the substitutes' bench.
It was previously reported that Lunin missed Real's last four training sessions due to the flu. As a result, Lunin will not be able to travel with the team but is expected to arrive at the game separately.
In the Champions League final, Real Madrid's goal will be guarded by Thibaut Courtois, who missed most of the season due to injuries but recovered by early May.
After Courtois' injury, Kepa Arrizabalaga, on loan from Chelsea, became Real's primary goalkeeper, but he later lost his place to Lunin. The Ukrainian played in all the knockout stage matches and participated in 31 matches this season, conceding 32 goals and securing 12 clean sheets.
The Borussia Dortmund vs. Real Madrid match will take place on Saturday, June 1, at the iconic Wembley Stadium in London.
