The authoritative football publication FourFourTwo has presented a new rating.
This time it included the 10 best players in the history of Spanish football.
The best among the Spaniards was the current Barcelona coach Xavi, who spent almost his entire career in the Spanish team.
The complete list looks like this:
- Xavi (Barcelona, Al-Sadd).
- Andres Iniesta (Barcelona, Vissel Kobe, Emirates).
- Iker Casillas (Real Madrid, Porto).
- David Villa (Sporting Gijon, Zaragoza, Valencia, Barcelona, Atlético Madrid, New York City, Melbourne City, Vissel Kobe).
- Sergio Ramos (Sevilla, Real Madrid, PSG).
- Sergio Busquets (Barcelona, Inter Miami).
- Raul (Real Madrid, Schalke, Al-Sadd, New York Cosmos).
- Carles Puyol (Barcelona).
- Gerard Pique (Manchester United, Zaragoza, Barcelona).
- Xabi Alonso (Real Sociedad, Eibar, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Bayern).
It is interesting that of all the players listed, three are still playing. These are Andres Iniesta, Sergio Ramos and Sergio Busquets.
