Goal magazine has presented an updated ranking of candidates for the prestigious individual Ballon d'Or award.

The main contender for this award is Real Madrid winger Vinícius Júnior, who has scored 24 goals and provided 11 assists this season. The Brazilian's teammate, Jude Bellingham, is in second place. The Englishman has 25 goals and 16 assists. Another Real Madrid player, Toni Kroos, rounded out the top three. This season, he has scored one goal and provided 12 assists.
