Shortly after her appointment, Nguele Valentine unveiled the extended squad for the Indomitable Lionesses for the tournament, which will take place this summer in Morocco.
The Cameroonian women’s team is preparing for its participation in the 2026 Africa Cup of Nations. The Indomitable Lionesses have already completed a few training camps, even though they were unable to play their international friendly against Morocco, which was due to take place during the June international break.
Nevertheless, the Cameroonian squad continues to prepare. Appointed head coach of the Indomitable Lionesses on Friday 12 June, Nguele Valentine unveiled on 13 June the list of players shortlisted for the Africa Cup of Nations, which will take place in Morocco. The Cameroonian tactician has published a provisional list of 41 players. This includes 6 goalkeepers, 11 defenders, 12 midfielders and 12 forwards.
For the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, Cameroon have been drawn in Group D alongside Ghana, Mali and Cape Verde.
