Guinean referees are undergoing practical training at the National Technical Centre.

The Guinean Football Federation wants to introduce VAR into its championship, following the example of certain African championships. The process has been underway for several weeks, with the first stage marked by theoretical training for Guinean officials.

But now, this training has entered its practical phase. Referees are being trained in the practical use of VAR technology. They are attending a training course at the National Technical Centre. Participants in this session, which will end on 13 March, ‘will benefit from practical sessions and match simulations to reinforce their mastery of the procedures and use of this technology in real game conditions,’ said the Guinean Football Federation.
