Juventus star Federico Chiesa is edging closer to leaving the club this summer.
The issue lies in Chiesa's incompatibility with the playing style of Juventus' new head coach Thiago Motta, and his contract is set to expire in the summer of 2025. Negotiations for a new contract have yet to commence, and Juventus is keen to avoid losing Chiesa for free.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Juventus has set a price tag of 25 million euros for Chiesa. Roma is considered the favorite to sign the Italian national team forward and will soon begin negotiations.
In the recently concluded season, Chiesa scored 9 goals and provided 3 assists in 33 Serie A matches.
