The president of Napoli has commented on the future of Kvaratskhelia at the club

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has commented on the future of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia at the Neapolitan club.

“The offer that cannot be refused must come to me and not to him. Kvara has many more years with us and I want to extend his contract. He has been a gentleman, we will talk it over at the end of the season.

“If he should become fixed on an idea, then that would be bad for him ad for us. We knew he was a great player, but thanks to Napoli he was able to express the best side of himself and it is only right that we get rewarded for getting that value out of him.” De Laurentiis said.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has been playing for Napoli since July 2022. His current contract with the club expires in 2027. In the current season, Hwang has played in 36 matches for the Blues, scoring 10 goals and providing 6 assists.

Earlier, Kvaratskhelia's agent mentioned a condition under which he could leave Napoli.
