"The Premier League is the best league in the world!" - Hansi Flick acknowledges the greatness of English football

The Barcelona head coach has admitted that La Liga is currently a notch below the Premier League.

Details: On the eve of the first leg of the Champions League Round of 16, Barcelona's head coach Hansi Flick conceded at the pre-match press conference that, at this moment, the levels of the English Premier League and La Liga are difficult to compare.

According to Flick, English football is now operating on another level entirely:

"The Premier League is the BEST league in the world. It's incredible; they have a lot of money and the ability to make big decisions!

But we are just as strong as Newcastle, and we have to play according to our philosophy and show that to the whole world." - said Flick.

This season, Barcelona already faced Newcastle in the first round of the Champions League group stage. On that occasion, the Magpies narrowly lost 1-2 to the Catalans at home.
