Poland secured a spot in the final of the United Cup 2024 by defeating France in the first semi-final match held on the night of January 6.

The victory was achieved through two wins in the singles matches. Hubert Hurkacz, ranked 9th in the ATP, defeated Adrian Mannarino (ATP 22) in two sets with a score of 6:3, 7:5, lasting 1 hour and 42 minutes.

Following that, the world's number one, Iga Swiatek, faced Caroline Garcia (WTA 20) and won in three sets, bringing Poland to the final of the competition.

In the mixed doubles match, Katarzyna Piter / Jan Zielinski played against Elixan Lechemiya / Edouard Roger-Vasselin, but this encounter did not affect the overall result of the match confrontation. The representatives of Poland won with a score of 6:3, 6:3.

In the final of the United Cup 2024, Poland will face the winner of the match between Australia and Germany.
