The Bayer midfielder Florian Wirtz has made his intentions clear for the near future.

The German national team midfielder is inclined to remain with the Leverkusen team for the upcoming season, as reported by journalist Kerry Hau on Twitter. It's highlighted that the rising star of Bayer isn't rushing to accelerate events in his career and is eager to gain experience in the Champions League alongside his current team.

Persistent interest in the midfielder has been shown by Bayern Munich, Barcelona, and Liverpool, all of whom have already made contact with the player's representatives. Real Madrid is reportedly willing to offer around 100 million euros for the talented midfielder.

In the current season, envisioning the starting lineup of the "Pharmacists" without Wirtz becomes challenging. He has scored seven goals and provided ten assists in 21 matches across all competitions.

Additionally, Wirtz has represented the German national team in 14 matches. The influential German portal Transfermarkt values the player at a significant 100 million euros. The midfielder's contract with the German club is set to last until the summer of 2027.

Bayer is leading the Bundesliga after 14 played matches. Under the management of Xabi Alonso, the team has accrued 36 points without a single defeat.
