The pitch at a stadium in Kananga, DR Congo, is causing a stir

With a pitch in a clearly poor state, this stadium hosted Sunday’s league match between FC Tshikas and St Eloi Lupopo.

This stadium does, however, host first division matches in the Democratic Republic of Congo. But its condition is far from guaranteeing the best playing conditions.

As the stadium where FC Tshikas host their opponents in Linafoot Ligue 1, its pitch becomes almost a trap for teams unaccustomed to it. FC St Eloi Lupopo had to settle for a draw on Sunday on this pitch, acknowledging the difficulty of playing on this surface.
