Phoenix Suns player Yusuf Nurkic has set a new franchise record and updated the league record, as reported by ESPN.

In the recent NBA match between Phoenix and Oklahoma, the Suns fell short with a score of 110:118. In this game, center Yusuf Nurkic scored 14 points, grabbed 31 rebounds, and made 4 assists. These 31 rebounds by the 29-year-old Bosnian are not only a new record for the Phoenix franchise but also the best performance in the NBA in the last 13 years. The last time such an achievement was accomplished was by Kevin Love in November 2010 when the forward was playing for Minnesota, scoring 31 points and 31 rebounds plus 5 assists against New York.

Nurkic is a Bosnian professional basketball player who plays as a center. He currently plays for the NBA team Phoenix Suns and the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team. He was drafted into the NBA in 2014, selected in the first round as the 16th pick by the Chicago Bulls.

Recall that American basketball player Caitlin Clark became the all-time leading scorer in the history of American collegiate basketball. She surpassed the record of Hall of Famer Pete Maravich, who played for Louisiana State University from 1967 to 1970.
