The PFA awards a special prize to El Hadji Malick Diouf

This is in recognition of his victory in the Africa Cup of Nations with Senegal.

Like Ismaïla Sarr a few days ago, El Hadji Malick has been honoured by the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA). The Senegalese defender, who contributed to the Lions of Teranga's victory in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, received a special award from the footballers' union.

This distinction recognises the player's career and achievements during the continental tournament. El Hadji Malick Diouf was one of the key players in the Senegalese defence at the Africa Cup of Nations, which Senegal won against Morocco on 18 January 2026 in Rabat.
