The obvious answer. Yamal names the greatest player in history

Lamine Yamal gave an interview in which he was asked about the best player of all time, and the Barcelona winger revealed his choice.

Details: In the 60 Minutes interview, the Spaniard said the greatest player of all time is Lionel Messi. He added that if they were to play against each other, it would be with mutual respect.

Quote: "I believe Leo Messi is the greatest footballer of all time, but he also knows that I am a player, and I respect him a lot. If we play against each other, it will be mutual respect. He knows I’m not trying to be him, play like him, or wear the number 10 like him. I want to be myself," Yamal said.

In the same interview, the Spaniard also stated that everything depends on the individual — including expectations. Yamal admitted he simply plays football and expects nothing.

Reminder: Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick shared details of a brief exchange with Raphinha after the 3–1 win over Alavés. Moments after the final whistle, the Brazilian winger approached his visibly upset coach in an attempt to lift his spirits.
