The Nigerian national team receives a shock with the injury of its most prominent defender!
In one of the matches of the champion ship, the distinguished Nigerian defender Semi Ajayi, West Bromwich player, suffered an injury that he will miss for at least four months, as reported by the club's Sports reports.
The player's injury was a hamstring injury in the match that brought his team together with Cardiff City, and it is expected that he will undergo surgery.
The Nigerian international gave an outstanding performance in the qualifiers of the 2025 African Nations Championship.

Ajayi will miss Nigeria’s AFCON qualifiers against Benin and Rwanda which are scheduled for 14 November and 18 November respectively.
