The NHL has named the three stars of the final week of December

The National Hockey League has named the top three players of the week from December 25th to 31st.

The third star of the last week of December is defenseman Luke Hughes of the New Jersey Devils. He helped the Devils secure two victories and suffered one defeat last week. In the game against Columbus (4-3), Hughes scored a goal, contributed two assists, and scored one goal in the match against Ottawa (6-2). In the match against Boston (2-5), Luke added another goal to his tally. In five games, he accumulated five points, and New Jersey currently holds the tenth position in the Eastern Conference with 40 points.

The second star of the week is forward Artemi Panarin of the New York Rangers. The Rangers won twice and lost once last week. Panarin scored a goal and provided an assist in the game against Washington (5-1), scored once in the match against Florida (3-4), and completed a hat-trick in the game against Tampa Bay. He accumulated six points during the week, and the Rangers lead the Eastern Conference with 51 points.

The first star of the week is forward Sebastian Aho of the Carolina Hurricanes. Aho helped his team secure three victories in three games. In the game against Nashville (5-2), he contributed three assists and scored once, and in the match against Montreal, Aho provided four assists. In the game against Toronto, he scored a goal and assisted twice. Aho accumulated a total of 11 points in three games, and Carolina holds the fourth position in the Eastern Conference with 44 points.
