The new president of the Malian Football Federation officially takes office

Mahazou Baba Cisset was sworn in on Tuesday 21 April during a ceremony.
The election of the new president of the Malian Football Federation took place on 16 April. However, it was this Tuesday that he officially took the reins of Malian football’s governing body.
The handover ceremony took place in Bamako in the presence of the country’s football stakeholders. Mahazou Baba Cisset will lead the Federation’s new Executive Committee for the next four years. That said, his term runs until 2030. Mahazou Baba Cisset is expected to revitalise Malian football during his tenure.
