On the night of December 13 to 14, two semifinal games of the NBA In-Season Tournament were played, revealing the teams set to battle for the championship title.
Details: In the first semifinal, the New York Knicks confidently defeated the Orlando Magic 132-120, with Jalen Brunson emerging as the star of the night, pouring in 40 points. In the second semifinal, the San Antonio Spurs, bolstered by the return of Victor Wembanyama from injury, edged past the Oklahoma City Thunder with a narrow 111-109 victory.
The NBA In-Season Tournament final is scheduled for December 17 at 02:30 Central European Time.
For the record, the Lakers clinched the inaugural NBA Cup, while last season Milwaukee defeated Oklahoma City in the final. This means the tournament is guaranteed to crown a new champion this year.
