The Milwaukee point guard has achieved an impressive milestone
Milwaukee Bucks point guard Damian Lillard has risen to fourth place in NBA history for the most successful three-point shots.
During the match against the Lakers (122:123), Lillard surpassed Reggie Miller's record of 2560 three-pointers made throughout his career. Now, Lillard has a total of 2564 accurate three-pointers in his career.
The only players ahead of Lillard in terms of three-pointers made are James Harden (2910), Ray Allen (2973), and Stephen Curry (3680).
Lillard, who plays as a point guard, was selected in the first round as the sixth overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft. In his rookie season, he became a key player for the Portland Trail Blazers, playing in all 82 games of the season. On September 27, 2023, Lillard was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks as part of a three-team trade.
Lillard made his debut for the Bucks on October 26, 2023, in a match against the Philadelphia 76ers, scoring 39 points, a franchise record for a debut, and grabbing eight rebounds in a season-opening victory with a score of 118-117.
