The matchups for the third round of the EFL Cup playoffs have been determined

On Wednesday, August 28, the final matches of the second round of the EFL Cup were completed, revealing the names of all the teams advancing to the next stage.

Immediately after the matches, the draw for the third round of the Carabao Cup took place, determining all the matchups.

Notably, certain changes were introduced during this stage's draw. The third-round EFL Cup matches will be held on September 16 and 23. However, these dates coincide with European competitions.

As a result, the organizers decided that clubs participating in the Champions League should not be drawn against teams playing in the Europa League or the Conference League.
