The match between Palmeiras and Al Ahly at the FIFA Club World Cup was suspended due to inclement weather.

Details: The second-round fixture of Group A at the Club World Cup, held at the Meadowlands Stadium in New Jersey, featuring Brazilian side Palmeiras and Egypt's Al Ahly, was halted as a hurricane approached the city.

In the 63rd minute, players from both teams were forced to head down the tunnel, and an announcement was made in the stadium—spectators were instructed to move to safe shelters.

At the time of the suspension, Palmeiras were leading 2-0 thanks to a goal from Flaco López and an own goal by Abu Ali.

Reminder: Abel Ferreira after the goalless draw with Porto: “We did everything right… except score a goal”
