Legendary Manchester United and England national team striker Andy Cole has named the top three forwards of the modern era.

Surprisingly, the Red Devils' icon did not include Erling Haaland, Kylian Mbappé, or Harry Kane in this list.

“At the peak of their powers, [Robert] Lewandowski, [Karim] Benzema... Benzema, is great even now. Probably Ronaldo. Coaches change, but they improve their performance, you know,” Cole said.

Andy Cole ranks fourth in Premier League history for goals scored. He netted 187 goals in 414 matches, representing Newcastle United, Blackburn Rovers, Fulham, Manchester City, and Portsmouth.

However, Cole's international career with England did not flourish. He played only 15 matches for the Three Lions and scored one goal.
