Villarreal is strengthening their defense ahead of the new La Liga season with the transfer of Manchester United defender Willy Kambwala.

The official website of the Spanish club announced that the 19-year-old player has signed a contract with the Yellow Submarine until June 2029. Kambwala is a product of Manchester United's youth academy, having joined from Sochaux. He made a total of 10 appearances for the Red Devils last season, including eight in the Premier League. Additionally, he won the FA Cup with Manchester United.

In other transfer news, Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee will continue his career in England. The 22-year-old Dutch international has signed a contract with Manchester United.

Manchester United's press service reports that Zirkzee has signed a contract with the club until June 30, 2029. The transfer fee remains undisclosed, but it was reported that his release clause is 40 million euros.

Moreover, despite his advanced age, renowned defender Jonny Evans has successfully integrated into Manchester United's squad.
