The Ligue 1 outsider paid €17m for the 18-year-old striker

Lyon has officially announced the transfer of the young winger midfielder Malick Fofana from Gent.

The 18-year-old player has cost Lyon 17 million euros, with an additional 5 million euros that the French club may pay as bonuses.

This transfer marks Lyon's most expensive acquisition in the last three seasons and the 11th most expensive in the club's entire history.
